St. Francis de Sales

"Following his ordination in 1593, Francis de Sales traveled throughout Protestant Switzerland to share the Faith. Hoping to open hearts, he slipped simple pamphlets under doors and played with the children. In his popular book, Introduction to the Devout Life, Francis taught that holiness and peace are possible for everyone through prayer. "By turning your eyes on God in meditation," he said, "your whole soul will be filled with God."
