Saint Brigid of Ireland

"All across Ireland, Brigid founded several convents and even an art school. Legend has it that when Brigid passed, her nuns kept a fire lit for centuries. In Ireland, it is a springtime tradition to create small woven crosses called Brigid's crosses.
